ENGINEERING EXPO 2010

ENSOC is proud to announce that the annual engineering EXPO will be held on the 20th of July. A large range of engineering companies will be attending to recruit graduates and to give an idea to prospective engineers of the opportunities on offer in this exciting industry.

Stalls will be positioned along the engineering concourse to ensure maximum contact between companies and students. This will also give an opportunity for companies to communicate with students at a more informal level.

Presentations from companies will take place throughout the day. These normally cover graduate development programs and day to day tasks for young engineers at respective organisations.

MIGHTY RIVER POWER UNI HALL ENGINEERING TUTORIALS
Uni Hall this Wednesday at 7PM in the Uni Hall library. We’ve done our homework and ordered some pizzas, so if any of you young engineers are battling away with Math108 or Engr101, we’ll be surprisingly useful with any questions you may have.

BECA QUIZ NIGHT (3rd Pro ONLY!)
4th week of term, and by all reports is one of the best nights of the year for all you third pros out there. We’ll be selling team slots for you and letting you know details like themes and all that carry on.
IPENZ SPEAKER EVENING:
Thursday the 13th of May, Dr. Andrew Clelands - the Chief Executive of IPENZ will be coming along to speak about what IPENZ can do for all you engineers out there.

The theme for this one is nice and easy. Get your retro sixties kit out, the classic toga special, or your favourite spaceman suit and we’ll be seeing you on Friday…
WHERE: Ilam Fields Pavilion – same as always…
HOW MUCH: MEMBERS = ENTRY $2, DRINKS $2, OR $10 bucks for entry and free drinks
NON MEMBERS = ENTRY $5, DRINKS $2 (told you it was worth being a member…)
 
You’ll obviously need your ENSOC CARD to get the members deals, and AGE ID to get in.
